We've all heard the Fiat and Alfa Romeo empty statments for years sworn they would return to North America. The question faced is if they are truly committed to re-enter North America, can they succeed? How well this time will be Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Abarth product portfolio fits with the current U.S. and Canadian markets? What will be the best dealerships that sell infrastructure platform Fiat (and / or Alfa Romeo / Abarth / Iveco / Ferrari / Maserati, etc.) products? Can the general public perception can not be relied upon to overcome? North America is entering in the near future given the choice of an intelligent American current economic contraction? Or whether the fuel is only about Fiat assistance in obtaining sales for small cars and diesel engines? Would you consider a Fiat product? Other thoughts about the Fiat and its subsidiaries back into North America?
MINI demand currently unprecedented (as discussed in this thread) substantiates that there is a big enough market for the premium, stylish, compact, fuel-efficient cars. Given the success of MINI and concerns fuel today, I predict and Alfa Romeo Mito 500 Abarth will 500/Fiat hits sales.
